Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) bought used 99/24v- needfuel pressure at filter

have need for fuel pressure (in lbs) at filter. Think I need to replace pump but do not have manual, it is on order. Your help would be great appreciated.

Are you just looking for what the pressure should be at the injector pump inlet?



If so, it's best to keep that pressure about 10psi at all time. 14-15psi at idle is a good mark to check on. But you do want to check it under load to confirm whether or not the pump is up to the job.

my pressure on the out side of filter is at 14 or 15 at idle (brand new Lp). and drage it down to around tenish when i get on it.

IMHO I've read some differant post that said give the VP all it can take up to the point of the over flow PSI (above 14)
