Good drill bits - where?

Clinton's Pardon: Yay or Nay?

I am wanting some oppions on the Bowflex excersice machine. Do you like it? Is it worth the money? Do you use it regularly? Thanks MPb

All I know is the guy on the commercial got that body with free weights, not the Bowflex. #ad
I would think it would be beneficial, though.

I agree with Fireman Dave - that guy (and Girl for that matter) got that body from free weights. That's the only way to really build muscle like that. However, if you want to tone up, I would think the BowFlex would be a good piece of equipment. I just wonder how long the "rubber bands" will last?.

Shannon; I've got one and use it. It works as much as the person is willing to work. I still compete (cycling, running & triathlons) and if I go back to the world championships this year,my weight workouts will be done only on the bowflex. Any system, including bowflex and free weights, have their advantages and disadvantages. If it was pure bulk I was going after, I'd go free weights. For my purposes, the bowflex works great. By the way,I picked it up about 18 months ago used, brand new condition, for less than half price. Good luck. Also, no rubberbands. Bowflex uses only bendable rods to create resistance. One other thought;Alot of people are more motivated to workout at a Y or club than they are in their home. If you're a person that can do the home workout routine, just about any piece of equipment works. Stop by before the St. Louis meeting on the 3RD. I'll show you my home gym setup. Steve

I was looking at Bowflex a while back and was talking to some friends that are into weightlifting etc. They told me that it is alright but using the bands-type equipment could cause tendonitis(sp) and you would be better off using free weights. I purchased a complete Smith machine with alot of attachments (lat pull down benches etc) for less than I could have bought the bowflex. Now if I would just start using it #ad
