Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Box advice

I currently run a ez and a blue box. I am thinking about getting a edge comp to replace my 2 boxes. I would like to get the incab adjustement of the comp but I do not want to lose power. I had heard before that my combo would give more power than a comp. Does any know if that is true?

In my opinion no.

I have seen the "combo" trucks dyno they put out about the same numbers as an Edge Comp, if they are combo trucks with say a "competition program" the Edge Drag Comp will hold its own with any of them.



So, I would suggest which box best suits your needs.

If you go with a Blue Chip FMS or TST PM3 I would suggest keeping the EZ to piggy back, if your going Edge Comp you can sell the EZ and put that money towards a Drag Comp upgrade.
