sorry, i searched but could not find what I'm looking for. i am looking for the box comparison that was posted a while back that showed the different boxes and rating of them. thanks for any help

I forgot all about that.

I noticed that the DD UFM has two sets of data for all five power levels. Is this supposed to signify the difference in power levels when the UFM is installed on an ETC vs. an ETH? If so, it sure explains what many of us have seen when an ETH and an ETC dyno back to back on the same dyno with equivelant bombs.

I recently requested literature from TST. All info is rear-wheel HP data taken on a 98 24v 2500LB QC 5sp 3. 54.

Stock = 170hp/367lb-ft

PM = 224hp/537lb-ft = +54/+170

PM2 = 254hp/627lb-ft = +84/+260

PM3 = 300hp/750lb-ft = +130/+383

TST claims in testing that the 275hp RV injectors (+33hp/80pb-ft) are completely additive with their boxes

I'm still teetering between TST and Blue Chip

Tim

If you already have gauges go TST if not a Blue Chip is handy for that reason also. I know my TST PM3 Comp version was a lot stronger than when it was only a PM3 before I got it upgraded. TST is honest in there claims and good people to deal with to in my opinion.

FWIW

My truck made 210/454 stock.

Then 343/799 with DDUFM. Same day same dyno.

Later day-same dyno it made:

296/621 on DD3 injectors only,

388/851 on DD3's and 3x5 DDUFM,

415/952 on DD3's and 5x5 DDUFM*

*note I am OVERFUELED at this point. The stock turbo will not clean up the black smoke on the upper levels. I WILL pick up many HP and a few TQ when I add AIR to the mix.

Wade,

Are your numbers corrected flywheel numbers? If not, I want your secret to zero'ing out driveline power losses :D

Looks like you got +80hp/+167lb-ft with just the DDIII's. Do you know how the DDII's stack up in comparison?

dshawhan -- you sent the PM3 back to TST and they upgraded to "Comp"? Is their "comp" a standard upgrade, or is it specifically programmed for each truck, depending on intended use? What else is on your truck aside from PM3 comp?

Hope I'm not sounding like a broken record, guys, appreciate the info

Thanks

Tim

Wade, what gear did you dyno in? I would expect a little more jam outta that truck... . and wait 'til you do a turbo... you've got about another 40hp hidden there.
