"I love how everyone rips the quality of the boyd coddington wheels, and found it interesting that someone suggested a weld wheel instead. Has anyone noticed that Boyd Coddington works in the marketing department for Weld? I wonder where exactly those wheels are made, or what kind of crossover there is. "
It's not Boyd Sr. that works there - it's his son.
The "crossover" is this: For the reasons mentioned in the preceding posts, Boyd's son no longer works for Boyd Coddington. He works for Weld - hence the new "BC Forged" series wheel. He had simply had enough and moved on to a company that followed ethics more like his own.
There is no corporate "link" between the two companies. They are as different as night and day.
