Competition Look what I found on Ebay!

I've watched this truck in a few Vids that made it to my door step :D

That truck is one mean S. O. G. one vid he comes off the line at supper high RPM and is wrenching the motor till the end... . yes he did good! The truck is lean on the exhaust and the motor likes it.

I sit back humbly and listen to this run time and time again and wonder just how much power he is putting. Equiring minds want to know!

Jim

Good question Jim.

With all the horsepower and nitrous experts out there, surely one of them will have a guess or ballpark idea.

Any idea what he runs for turbo/s, a 13mm or 14mm P pump and I know he doesn't run street injectors... ..... BTW, that idle comes with DV's and lines being bigger.

Jim

no idea what he runs for turbos, but there are other ways to get the romp romp idle. If your governor droop is set a certain way it will do that.

Jim he is employed at Schied in Effingham, great guy, give him a call-800-669-1934. We'll be seeing Brad tonight at the DHRA Awards banquet as he is the Super Street Champion! His father-in-law even placed in Street Diesel-a pulling family. All I can tell you that One Bad Habit (truck's name) is a single turbo configuration and makes a BUNCH of power.

i bet the romp romp you are seeing is in a video from early in the season, they had some pump issues early on but had them straitend out by the end of the season.

Been there done that! Big Injectors, lines, DV's and holders will do it also, I call it the confusion factor..... the pump doesn't know what to do! In the vid that I was watching there is a clip of the truck on the scales idling and it didn't sound any different than my truck does... ..... quite smooth!

Jim

Since we got off-topic and are talking about combos that lope a bit:

Dad's '98 has a pronounced lope in gear (even when it's hot) with 370's, 022 DV's, 3KGSK, and an OEM 180hp pump/lines.

My '94 lopes just a bit in gear (even when it's hot) with 5x15 EDM's ( ), 131 DV's, 3KGSK, and an OEM 160hp pump/lines.

Matt

Gene, your sick on that injector size!

Matt, you need some DV's in that 160 pump but I still doubt it would work right... ... . those injectors are almost as big as mine, nice size though!

Mine is a little grouchy(very little) when it's cold at work but other than that it's fine. Now with . 022's and big holders it's a little choppy but both are with stock lines.

Jim

Gene/Jim: I don't need anything but 131's and the EDMs I have now until I add a second turbo... and that's not happening until she gets fire ringed.

With only 16. 5° BTDC of static timing, the old girl still fires off and runs at -5°F. :D
