Looking to relocate my LP. Is there any advantage to using steel lines? I did a search and can't find anything, everyone seems to be using rubber line. Thought it would be nice to use steel with AN fittings.

also, I saw on here at one time where someone rigged up some fancy ball valves on either side of the lift pump so he didn't have to use vise grips when changing the pump out. He had some good pics of it. Anyone know who that was?

IF you do braided pm me as I have figuered out some techniques of cutting it that cost me a couple of trial and error attempts to get right. I do full flow everything and braided everything fuel wise. It does get pricey though.

Braided steel hose looks really nice, but if you do it, make sure you protect or prevent it from rubbing against anything else. It will wear a hole in just about anything it comes into contact with. This and the cost is why I went with simple rubber hose.

what kind of cost are we talking?

I looked back at the hose that I got and compared it to braided. -8AN hose. 15 ft length of Russell twist-lok hose is $45. Looks like the equivalent Russell brand in braided SS is $76 for the same length. Got these prices from Summit Racing.
