2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission brake adjuster

Hi all, been along time sense my last post,so here goes' when you pull the rubber plug out of the back of the brakes to see the star wheel where is the lever to release the star wheel i cant' see anything to push back, if i try and turn the wheel back it binds up so i dont what to tighten any more until i can loosen it up. I put 16 clicks on each side and it does seem to be stopping alittle better. I have never ben real happy with the way this truck has stopped sense I bought it ten years ago, so is the lever above,below, to the rear,front of adjuster, as always Thanks in advance Don

The lever/actuator is to the inside and above the star wheel. Normally you can take a small screwdriver and press inward on the lever and reverse the star wheel. When I say in, it is in relation to you being under the truck and pressing in through the slot toward the brake drum. bg
