Brake/Clutch/Throttle pedal movement

Just curious. . my new truck has the adjustable pedals. Seems like there is a 1/8 of an inch " Play " in them from side to side. They just feel a little loose to me. THis is my first truck that has had this feature, so I am guessing it is normal. I don't notice it much anymore, and am used to it I guess, but all of my trucks have been manual trans and very stif pedals. . anyone else experience this?

I owned two Fords with adjustable pedals and they both had the side to side play in them. I also have a buddy with a 04. 5 and he has it also, so I would think it is normal.

I just went out and checked my pedals, and there is some lateral movement in them. It must be normal.

I spec'd out a 2005 dually today and found out that the adjustable pedals have been deleted from the options list due to an engineering problem (according to the buyer at a friends dealership). Anyone have any idea what the problem might have been? There is a 2004 dually I am considering with the adjustable pedals, but I am concerned about this becoming a major problem. Anyone having any problems.

Mine work perfect and are slightly loose side to side.
