I also have a Prodigy brake controler and I mounted mine on small square area under the light switch. Remove 2 screws under the knee pad under the steering and lay it aside. With the left door open you well see sort of and oval pad on the left side of the dash. With a small flat screwdriver ease it under the pad and gently lift if out of the way. Once the it has been removed there is 2 screws that holds the left side to knee pad that goes around the e-brake release. I mounted my Prodigy using the slip in mount. I mounted the slip in mount directly to the dash. The I run the wires through the opening where the e-brake release is and most of the wires will be hid. I've found this works quiet well.
