Those who use a trailer brake controller, where are you mounting it?

I have a Prodigy and can't get it level enough on the dash in front of my knee like I had it before. With the manual trans, there are a couple of flat places around the shifter, plus I thought of mounting it in the flat cubbyhole just under the heat controls.

I have mine installed in front of the transfer case shifter. It's easy to reach and doesn't interfere with anything - including my leg. Keep in mind the area under the dash is called the knee bolster and is designed to protect you in a crash :{ .

On my '05, I mounted it in the little cubby under the heater controls. Very easy to reach and it's nice to be able to easily glance at the display and see the voltage display.

If you look at the last picture posted, I mounted mine on the very bottom trim piece sideways. It is easily accessible, and out of the way. Haven't kicked it yet, and it's been 2 years.

I removed my ashtray, mounted a prodigy in the hole. It is out of the way, easy to reach. I never used the ashtray, so it is a good use of otherwise wasted space (for me. )
