Brake controller wiring?

Would a 2004 2500 have a trailer brake plug-in under the dash like my 99 2500 did? If so, does it take the same little factory harness between the controller and the under dash plug? I am going to use the one off my old 99 on my son's 04 if it will work.

Mine did, under the dash to the left of the steering column.

yes it has the plug for the brake controller. It's up next to the parking brake assembly.
plug should fit. '95-'09 all the same

It's a light blue connector about 2" wide by .5 tall. There's nothing else that color under there.
