Brake controllers

What is everyone using and was it hard to install? I'm leaning toward a Teknosha Prodigy, is this one any good?

Prodigy is excellent, but I now have a Brakesmart and it is most awesome! I have towed with both... If dollars is an issue, you can not go wrong with Prodigy! If dollars not an issue, Brakesmart is the way to go... Both install easily.

Been using Jorden for 0ver a 100,ooo miles just gerat . Just bought a new 05 sent the controler back to Jorden just to make suer everything was ok. They went into it and sent me a new beacket for the adjustable foot pedals NO CHARGE installed it today good company.

Prodigy for me... I have about 15k on it. It's my first brake controller so I have nothing to compare. All I know is it works great right out of the box (once it's hooked up that is. ) :-laf

Full Time RVer pulling a heavy 5iver, stated with the basic and worked my way upto the Brakesmart, which by far is the best ever and makes me feel safe with the heavy load. Replaced a very good Jordan with the Brakesmart and glad I did. You get what you pay for! Racokid

Brakesmart for me. I had Prodigy for many years. I really liked them. However, the Brakesmart beats it hands down... very easy to install, easy to use. I am currently testing the prototype of the pyrometer and boost features. They will not be available for awhile but will be a simple add on. So far they work great and its easy to put in.

Boost and Pyro come on when heat or boost is detected and the display had them side by side on the vacuum florescent screen. I run two and sometimes four axles and it tells you automatically. There are some nice warning features too.

I installed a Brakesmart in my truck last week, and it is the best controller I have ever used. Their customer service is also top shelf. Oo.
