Has anyone found a good cleaner to get rid of brake dust? We just finished a 10,000+ miles trip in 3 months and I need to get the dust off the rims Thanks Dan

Simple green for light coating about 4-500 miles or 1 week.
Purple power cleaner straight for heavy coating of dust.
Carefull of the purple its corosive and needs to be brushed on and rinsed quick to avoid goofing up rims.

I use the stuff from the Housewares Dept called "NEVR-DULL". Of course you have to rub it on and buff it off but it leaves my wheels looking like new.

OH! I also hit all the Chrome while I'm at it.

I never cared for that spray on hose it off method of cleaning. Seems that to get one thing clean you have to mess something else up.

Eagle One NEVR-DULL Metal Polish

Greased Lightning and a soft brush, i have 160k on the rims with no rust or pitting. Also works great on the tires, hmmm a all-in-one cleaner.
