2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission brake fade

Has anybody experienced brake fade or disruption due to extreme cold weather? I'm talking 35 below. My brake pedal is stiff, then falls away with little pressure, and then feel like the pads are sticking. I have a 96 with the awful vaccuum assist and am wondering if the cold may be affecting the seals on my hoses. Just one more thing to watch out for now that it's cold outside.

I didn't think anything worked at 35 below. Does the truck heat up?:--)

It heats up if you have a cold front installed and all zipped up tight. It still takes a while though.
