Brake light flasher

Anybody using that device from Genos that you install up in the third eye level brake light that makes it flash when you step on the brake to attract more attention so morons dont read end you? If so, any complaints?

I've not ordered one yet, but have considered getting one. The wife's 99 grand am has that feature on the 3rd brake light and i like it.

Got one for my "motorsickle". Works justs like they advertise. . Is an attention getter.

I've had one for about a year. A friend was following me not long back, and when we got to our destination, he said, "That darn flashing brake light sure is annoying!"

I replied, "Got your attention, eh?"

And that's the whole point, IMO!

Put one on about a month ago with no problems. My son followed me the other day down in Florida, said it drove him nuts. Ya' I'm gonna' keep it, and ad on to Moms Ram. Might keep these nuts in Chattanooga from hitting me!!

I have had mine for about 3 years. Works great. Don't listen about it being illegal. I have never been stopped. In fact a cop asked me where I got mine. He wanted one for his motorcycle. #ad

Had one for about a year—I think it helps, and ditto on the benevolent comments from police! BTW, I 'harnessed' mine in through a Deutsch connector so I can delete and bypass if need be. (Can get Deutschs through Western Auto or other Keystone distributors). I found there was just enough headroom in the lamp slot for the Back Off! and a 4pin connector.

I installed mine friday, works great, simple to install with Genos directions.

I just cut the wire to the lite and put in a flasher (had to remove the metal cover to stuff it in and then taped it over). Can hear it "clicking" in the cab when the mighty Cummins is not running and you step on the brake, know its working!! It works GREAT and does get the attention - now if I can find out how to make my headlights more visible so they quit cutting me off like I'm not there.
