My dash "brake" light and "ABS" light are on all the time and ny trailer brakes are not working.

My dealer said it was probably the speed sensor in the rear differential. $75. later it did not correct. Anyone had a similar problem?

I have the same problem on my truck. My situation is caused by the abs wiring that goes back to the rear axle was stretched to the max and finally snapped when caught on a branch. Take a look at the harness it runs I believe from the front of the truck clear to the back. I will be replacing mine at the same time as the fuel gauge sender. Good luck and happy Raming!

Your brake controler looks for the stop light switch, which is activated by the breake pedel. If that does not work nothing else will (Elect) the brakes will still work, but the elect part is in the dark so to speak. Thats whare I would start. GOOD LUCK:confused:
