Ok, I am in Fergus Ont. at campground by recreation center. When I started up this am the brake warning light came on. On investigation the steel line that runs beside the fuel tank is spraying brake fuid when the brakes are pressed. Is it possible to self repair? I am puling a fifth wheel and only have basic tools. No pipe flair which I assume I would need. Does anyone know if Canadian Tire carries the lines and etc I would need. Being Sunday of course noone else is open and the Canadian Tire service bay is also shut. Is there anyone in the area with a shop recomendation? Can the line be crimped or repaired with plumbers epoxy?

Ron:confused:

crimp the line off and get a new piece of line and a crimp tool at Canadian Tire

my tools and i are over a 150km away right now or i would come up to help out

yes you can piece in a new section..... and yes a flaring tool ... . the guys at Canadian Tire should be able help you on the parts you need.

Much appreciate the info. Think I will sit tight until morning and then get over there. Knowing me I would get halfway through the job then be missing something. Except for the downed truck this is kind of a nice spot.

it's too bad this was not next weekend... . we have a huge truck show and truck and tractor pulls all weekend... . tons of us would have been able to help out
