TDR Members,
Working on why my ABS and brake light won't go off (original post in the 911 section (great section
Oo.
) and found that my pads also might be a little on the low side and will need to be replaced.
I'm 400 miles away from home and tools so I will have to take it into one of these brake/tire shops, so I'm sorry Folks, don't have time to do a long search to find the answers
Question
1) I have a choice of Respestus (sic?) ceramic pads or Bendix semi-matallic pads. Do any of you have opinions on either? one repair guy said ceramic would last longer and be easier on the calipers and rotors, while one other guy said Bendix would be closest to OEM and last longests? What do you think?
tks for any input/tips on this question or anything related dealing with brakes and service stations.
Best regards,
Steve
