I have a 01 2x4 and I am getting ready to do another brake job on the front pads. I have been looking at post and have a few questions. I see a lot of yall are using the EGR pads and I wanted to get some opions on weather on not yall think the pads alone with no other changes are worth the price? Also I have seen several references to Performance Friction Carbon Met. brake pads,, What brand are these pads and where and how much are they,,,,,, and do yall think they are better than say a lifetime set from someone like Auto Zone, or NAPA ???? I want to replace the pads with something that will last a little longer and have less dust. But I am not willing to change roters, cylinders, lines, ect. Just Pads.
