Me, thats why I asked! Think I'll pop in at the dealership later today and see whats what exactly! 197k, almost time for the first brake job on the '03.

Be sure to let us know, I'm due for some new pads too!!! My dealer is pretty reasonable, but heck, if they are the same, and cheaper, I'm game!!!

I have an 03 3500 4x4 SRW. The brakes on a 2wd are the same. The front and rear are NOT the same pad/rotor. The front takes a larger pad than the rear. Ensure before you buy, that you clarify with the disributor on the correct fittment. Aftermarket front brake pad selection is not plentiful. I went with EBC Ultimax from autopartswarehouse.com. UD702 for the rear and UD965 on the front.

At 57k, my fronts are whobbling -- a bit soon.

I've always used the factory pads.

Don't buy the "value line" pads from the dealer. I did and have never seen so much brake dust in my life. They may be cheaper but you have to wash your front wheels every other day. IMO
