It could be that your other vehicles did not have spoke wheels.

Both my Mitsubishi and Isuzu did.

Maybe my centramatic are changing how dusty the pads are? I have them on my current truck. But never had them on other vehicles.

That's definitely something to consider. Thx!

I went with Auto Zone premium or the Gold ones they were the best they offered. Dust is on par with the factory ones but I find they don't fade in fact they seem to stop better the hotter you get them. Towing a trailer I find them to be a huge improvement. And best of all they will give you a free replacement set when you wear them out. Just save the boxes and receipt. I'll let you know how true it is when I replace them in 30k miles. Years back Raybestos had the same program buy a set and the 2nd are on them I got many free sets for my 89 Dodge I did have over 500k miles on it when I sold it .

It could also be that your truck is nearly double the weight of a typical rice burner Mistu-suzu, and not the greatest comparison. 45k miles of daily city commuting is likely the equivalent of over 100k miles driving rural, if not more.
I had Centrimatics on my gen 2 over the span of a few different sets of pads, they never generated any more noticeable dust than without. I really think it's more driving situations than anything.

A little off topic because my experience was with the battery on my wife's car. Advance Auto wouldn't honor the warranty (only expected prorating) on the battery that I had purchased a few years earlier from the same store. The employee said they don't REALLY honor those warrantys. So I went around the corner and bought from autozone. I probably only would have gotten $10-$25 off with the prorating of warranty, but didn't like how the employee didn't know how to or didn't want to bother with the warranty. So I told him, "I'm not buying a battery where the warranty is not honored".

I really think it is the judgement and knowledge of the employee as to whether these limited warranties will be honored? But sometimes it reflects poorly on the retail chain. Looking at a search on if warranty is honored by Autozone, it appears it varies by store and who is working as an employee at that time?

My “new to me” ‘15 3500 has quite a bit of dust showing on the front wheels. Even a few weeks after after a brush type car wash. I had the state safety inspection done when I registered it in May and the dealer multipoint inspection done two weeks ago when the fuel filters were changed. Neither called out wear on brakes. Truck has 64k miles on it. Don’t know if or when first owner serviced the brakes.
