I have a question. I am working with my daughter on our 1992 W350 truck and it is coming along nicely. She just turned 16 and has been helping me "restore" this truck so that she is able to drive it when it is done. She just got her permit and is now off and driving our other vehicles. I had her do a little driving with this truck and the one thing that was significantly different was the brake pedal position. the old truck's pedal sticks out 4 or 5 inches farther than the gas pedal. All the new cars allow you to just roll your foot (don't have to pick up your leg). i was wondering if anyone has done any modifications or make an after market pedal/bracket that moves the brake closer to the firewall. Of course that might not be possible but thought it was worth a shot.

Note - the brakes work perfectly so they seemed to be set up very well.

thanks
mike

That's just the nature of the beast, that's how my truck is as well and the brake lines up perfectly with the clutch pedal
