Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Brake problem

I was just driving today and the Brake light and ABS light came on, everything seems fine but obviously there is something wrong, Anybody have any ideas as to what would cause the lights to come on?

Hey, now the speedometer has quit working, it did this before and it was the sensor on top of the rear end.



Wouldn't you think it would be the same thing?



If so can you tell me the proper name for the sensor?

Its the speed sensor. I started with the sensor, but ended up replacing the brake light switch as well..... my cruize didn't work. That was the kicker making it the brake light switch.

My brake and ABS lights also caamo on a few months back for no seeming reason. It turned out to be the rear wheel speed sensor. TDR forum
