Hey TDRer's,

I need your help again! On the 95 dodge I have when you press on the brake you can feel that the ABS don't always grab... but if you quickly release the pedal and depress again they will grab, which causes the ABS and brake light to come on and stay until you shut it off and restart it. Seems to be more apparent with a heavy load behind you. The pads and rotors are all good and plenty of brake fluid. I have tried unplugging the ABS and they seem to work better. Anyone out there have any ideas for me????

Hi sorry it has taken so long for a reply. To disconnect the ABS light I soimply disconnected the ABS wires that go to the Master cylinder. Hope it helps thanks for your tip.

another possible cause to your problem

Don't know if you solved your problem or not. But because your problem appears to be aggravated by a 'demand" on the brake system you might try looking for a vacuum leak on your vacuum booster. A 50c piece of vacuum hose fixed the problem for another guy who tells his story in the latest TDR magazine.
