Help me out here guys, the more replies the better, would like them quickly if you possibly can. Looking at a 92 Dodge D350 CTD 5spd 2wd. It had a flatbed put on it etc etc. Its on a local car lot, very nice guy that owns the lot,we know him(family friend) He said one of our distant family relatives owned the truck and traded it in on a 97 3500,he was going to retire soon and wanted a newer truck. The truck has real low miles(88k) and is in excellent shape. The only thing Jim(car lot owner) said was wrong with the truck was one of the front calipers was grabbing on it. They replaced the brake hose, caliper and set of pads. Said he has drove it a good bit and it has had no other problems. Just got off the phone with the wife of the late owner of the truck. She said it was a excellent truck, only problem they ever had was that the brakes was locking up on it(she couldnt remember the front or rear),she said several people worked on it but they couldnt figure it out. Said it wasn't anything major but they couldn't figure out it. So has anybody had any problems similar to this on there trucks? That kind of makes me nervous about the brakes on it(when we drove it that good while we never had a problem with the brakes but you never know,Jim could of figured out out with putting a brake hose and caliper on it. If a hose was bad it would cause brakes to grab on a vechile(have had this happen to me before) but don't want that happening again if I can help it. Info, help, suggestions, personal experiences, anything would be greatly appreciated, the quicker the better, probably going to get the truck tomorrow!

It i svery possible that the new hose and caliper solved the problem.

Even if it didn't it probably wouldn't hurt to go thru the brake system completely with new everything. It would be a good investment.

That's pretty much what I did the week after I bought mine. I haven't thought about the brakes since.

Good luck.
