Yes the brakes pull the truck to the left when i stop. i have put all new brakes on this truck as well as brake lines. front and back.

BUT i can hear the front wheel bearing when turning the corner it is making noise.

CAN the wheel bearing cause it to pull to the left when braking?.

Thanks for any and all help on this.

From past exp with my 95 4X4 (401,800 miles), yes the wheel bearing can allow the truck to pull from side to side when they are worn.

Also: if the REAR brakes are not adjusted correctly, it will cause the truck to rotate and feel like the front brake is causing it to pull

When you replaced the lines, you did the correct bleeding sequence--right (right rear, left rear, right front and then left front) and used good clean new brake fluid.

Low tire pressure can also cause this problem

Good luck

It would have to be real bad to cause the pulling. I'm thinking something is not right with the right side caliper not doing it's job.

My 96 truck had a pull to the left when I would brake. The first thing I did was to replace the RH caliper, since it was not working. That did not fix it. Ended up being the RH flexhose was collapsed, where the metal clamp goes around the hose and attatches to the frame. All is good.

I put on new hose on both sides. changed calipers 3or4 times each side thinking it was them, still pulls left.
blew air through lines and hoses,no blocks.
any ideas?.

Have you had the alignment checked?

Are both front rotors the same (new, or both resurfaced equally)

Are the front pads the same?

My 99 had a frozen piston in the Caliper dont remember which side. I had Dodge replace the Front calipers with remans and had the rotors turned. That worked for awhile until the pistons started freezing up again. I replaced the rotors, calipers and rear shoes with aftermarket parts before trading it in.

take a quick look at the rears again before you rip the front apart again, a wet brake shoe will pull... . bad seal in the axel or wheel cyl?.

Just another idea, my 4x2 would pull to the left when braking. I checked everything. A mechanic told me it was my pitman arm. I didn't believe him. Had the problem for over a year. I finialy replaced the pitman arm. Wow what a difference!

Don't think 4x4 has pitman arm. Truck drives straight down road with no hands on wheel.
this whole ordeal is making me crazy.

"FIXED" LEFT BRAKE PULL. changed the front pads. stuck caliper before melted pads.
made them like glass. glass on glass will not stop ****.
damn prob. has been makn me crzy.

no its not fixed it is back again. was braking straight but now is pulling left.

new rotors,new alingment,new ball joints,new damper,new pads.

anyone having same problem. ?

can not afford new truck.

1) Do the calipers slide nice on the pins? (You DID lube the pins when you assembled it, right?)

2) A loose steering part can cause a slight pull.

3) Uneven rear brake adjustment will cause a pull too.

4) A wheel bearing will also contribute to a pull. If it's loose enough the rotor will be cocked which will 1) wear the pads at an angle and give you less contact when you step on the brakes and 2) force the pads to move farther on the loose side in order to clamp the rotor.

5) The calipers sliding nice on the pins are critical. I disassemble and lube mine every year. To check them take a C-clamp and compress the piston into the caliper. Then you should be able to slide the calipar on the pins by hand. If you can't it's enough to cause a pull (or wreck a pad). Disassemble and lube the pins with silglide. Make sure you can slide it by hand when you are done.
