I have been having this ongoing brake problem.

I have a new master cyl, wheel cyl calipers, shoes, and pads.

My brakes keep getting worse. After about 4 days I feel unsafe driving it. But If I bleed the back brakes The brakes are good for like 4 days. When they are getting bad it feels like I have air in the lines. If I hit the brakes once they go almost to the floor, but if I let off then hit em again I have perfect brakes. When I bleed them I get no air. My rear adjustment is good. I have disabled my RWAL valve thinking the solenoid valve was leaking into the accumulator hence if I pump the brakes I have good brakes.

Could my Combo valve be messed up?

I dunno I'm out of Ideas anything will help.

TIA

Adam

New or reman master cylinder?

If the calipers were reused? When the pistons were pushed back into the caliper (making room for the new pads), did you notice if they were rusty and could have possibly, hurt the seals? (allowing air in the system).

It may have some air trapped somewhere.

Go to brakebleeder.com and read their "esoteric" (sp) about brake bleeding etc.

Another gent that often posts; sam peterson (sp) seems to be very brake savvy.

Let us know what you find.

Good luck

Andy
