I am taking my truck into Sam Peterson's brake shop in Olympia on Tuesday and thought I would check into how much it would cost if I had to replace the rotors. I could not find a parts house that had them anywhere. I checked with the dealers parts departments and got prices anywhere from $60. 00 each to $208. 00 each. Then none had them in stock. That's quiet a variance in price. Anyone know how much they do cost?

Yeah, Red sounds like you are having a heck of a time.
I paid $60 each shipping included for Bendix rotors from Carparts.com, they said they were backorder but appeared in three days. Sam will probably do you even better, if he can't get your brakes going no one can.

Dewdo,

Send me an email and let me know how it goes. Worth the drive to Olympia? My front brakes need done. I was gonna call Sam on Mon/Tues and see what he can do. Wanted to try those CarobMet pads he's talking about.

I just put on the Carbomet pad and shoes and changed the rear cylinders and this combo makes for a much better braking system than the stock setup--THANKS Sam--isn't enough to say--I think you can't go wrong with Sam--top shelf-no crap-and has a great product for us--chris

Dewdo, Likewise for me on an e-mail for I'd like to know what Sam recomends. After all, what are neighbors for, right? Dave
