I know this has been discussed b/4 but am wondering if any fixes (TSBs) have been found. Under braking the truck shudders but the brake pedal is firm. I had the same trouble b/4 at 25k and had the drums turned. It seemed to fix the tro for awhile but is now doing it again at 30k. I tow a 6500# trlr quite a bit but don't feel that's causing the problem. Probably can't have the drums turned again. I shouldn't have to have the drums turned twice by 30k! Larv

I've been down that road before also. They resurfaced the rotors at 21,000 on my 99 and that helped for awhile. Then back to the same old thing. Had they checked the drums real well they probably would have found them in less than perfect shape. So traded it in for a 2001 and within 7,000 miles a shudder was there. The fix this time was replacement of the drums under warranty. This seems to have fixed the problem. The dealer said DC recommends replacing the bad drums not turning them. Under warranty this was fine. I don't know if i would have paid for this with the 99 out of warranty. You might want to look into replacing the drums if they drive you as crazy as mine did.
