Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Brake upgrades for 98.5

Does anyone know of any after market brake upgrades for the old style brakes on my 98. 5? I would like to completely change out the front disc's and change the rear drums to disc. So far I haven't found any aftermarket manufacturer's that offer anything. Is it possible to change over to the new style factory brakes without replacing the complete differentials? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Well, I would start with EGR Severe Service brake at www.earthroamer.com/egr. I would go there myself for the front discs, and I'll betcha they will know who sells the rear disc conversions as well.

I just had my front rotors turned a week ago and put Sam's Carbon Metallic pads on I can't believe the difference. No "warm-up", no front end dive, no fade, and fantastic stopping power. Will not wear the rotors either.

But try EGR. Send an email for the rear end stuff, I'll bet you get your answer
