Does anyone know of a brake upgrade for the '03 2500?? Better calipers, bigger rotors, cross drilled and/or slotted rotors -- that sort of thing. And, has anyone actually used a brake upgrade??

Also, I am considering adding an exhaust brake, but I think the neighbors may not like it!

Thanks in advance!

The exhaust brake will make no noise. These are not the same as a J brake on an OTR truck. The exhaust brake for the cummins is a butterfly valve that you place just after the turbo and when activated will close off the exhaust pipe creating back pressure slowing the piston down and then slowing the truck down. If you have ever seen a throttle body for a gas car that butterfly valve looks just like an exhaust brake. (the car will have it in front of the intake and your diesel will be after the turbo) The gasser will close the valve and create vacuum your diesel will create back pressure that back pressure will slow the diesel down.

On the tv show xtreme4x4 they had a set of baer rotors that they installed on one of their dodge projects (hemisphere), but I have been unable to find them for sale. I think they may have decided not to produce them, but I never called baer directly.
