2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Brake warning lamp on

The other night I was working on the truck and needed to back up a few feet. Since I was on a bit of a hill I just let it roll back without starting. The brake warning lamp on the dash has been on ever since. How can I get it to go out? Thanks.

Pull the release and pull up on the emergency brake. bg

Thanks. I did that before reading your tip and it went off. What's happening in that situation?

May just not be returning all the way when released or you7 might have touched it when you were rolling the truck back the other night. If it continues to be a problem, try lubing the mechanism under the dash with some spray lube thats not too nasty. bg
