Well here is another question on brakes. I need to replace the rotors and pads. I am looking at powerstop drilled or slotted rotors. comments, suggestions? any other brands to look at?? I will be putting on 18" wheels soon, so I could go to a bigger rotor is possible.

any feedback would be great.

thanks

Check out EGR Brakes and Raybestos Super Stops. And/or call Sam Peterson, our resident brake guru. Do a search on here and you'll find him.

If you search the forum for Raybestos Superstops you'll probably turn up some very cool photos of yknot's setup.

Don't cheap out, you will be amazed at how much better the brakes can be! EGR is great, Their pads, lines, shoes all worked very well for me. The larger rear wheel cylinders are awesome, don't miss that one. I went with Raybestos Super Stop rotors, and their calipers too, works great.

Best move I ever made for this truck
