well its come time do do my brakes and i was looking for that part number for the chevy wheel cylinders so im wondering if anyone has it off the top of their head if the could send it my way please that would be great tia

I don't recall the part number but when I purchased the parts I just told the parts clerk that I needed brake cylinder for a one ton chevy. PS I had problems with this part where they would work too good. I took them off because they kept locking up under hard braking.

thanks for the number matthug

i got another ? tho the other day i got my fronts done but i could not get the backs off i tried everything i could to get them off short of pulling the axel. i backed the brakes all the way out an beat on them to no end i even sprayed them w/ wd40 and they still didnt come loose. course this also told me my back brakes dont work at all because when i finaly gave up the truck still stoped the same and i know it shouldn't if the backs had worked before. anyways any help on this would be great tia

I put the chevy cylinders in last Friday and have had a bit of a spongey pedal since then. . Have tried backing up fast and hitting brakes hard to adjust the rears out, seemed to help some, so time will tell.

As for getting the drums off, I had both rears in the air, truck running in 5th gear at about 40-50mph and then hit the brakes hard. Drums popped right loose. Make sure you have 2 lug nuts on or your drums will be gone.

May take a couple tries, but it does work when nothing else will.
