2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Brand new 2nd gen

O. K. so its not really brand new, but it sure does feel like it. Just got my '98 from the body shop today and it looks GREAT! I had a lot of rust on the rocker panels so the body shop man replaced them with new panels. By the way if anyone needs any body work done in northwestern NC I can highly recommend Damon Taylor at Taylor's Collision in West Jefferson. He was pretty reasonable price wise but he does really quality work. I hope to post some before and after pictures soon.

Did you have rust on the bottom of the doors where the metal wraps around the underside of the door. I have been wanting to fix the rust on my truck in those areas. What did your body guy do to fix those pieces if that was your problem.

I didn't have any rust on the bottoms of my doors, just the rocker panels. He did say something about spraying some kind of rust inhibitor on the insides of the door panels though. I'm trying to get some before and afters together but we have a film camera and I have to wait for my wife to fill up the roll before we can scan the pics!
