Are You All Wet?

Yes another brand war on the TDR. This one's a bit "lighter" though.

There was a post in the in 24v engine/DT forum that mentioned the work BEER, and there was a flurry of comments about beer.

I dont' recall seeing a favorite beer thread in the past few years.

I'm a craft beer fan. Anything dark accept wheat and fruit beers.

Saranac Black Forest (local)

Harpoon IPA (Boston)

Guinness (Irland)

If I have to have a light beer, Labatt Blue Light.

Dislike: Bud, Miller, Coors

Tboneman,

There was a thread last year maybe. Oh well, it's my favorite subject!

Harp

Beamish (if you like Guiness, you will love Beamish!)

I loved Guiness until Eric gave me my first Beamish. Why'd you do that? :D It puts Guiness to shame. It makes a sweeter Half and Half when mixed with Harp.

Samuel Smith and Grant's isnt too bad either.

I like the Gold or Light beer from Hops microbrewery the best, but they arn't in AZ. Bud Light for store bought beer, but I am not very experienced at this beer stuff.

Mine changes, but somehow these are my favorites.

1. Kostriker (Germany)

2. Youngs Oatmeal Stout(Irland)

3. Youngs Winter Warmer Ale(Irland) Mmmmmm Goood, when available.

I used to like Shiner Bock, but lately it has had a funny metalic aftertaste to it.

Beamish??? Never heard of it... Bring some to Muncie for me...

I'd say my favorites are:

Bud

Pen Pilsner

New Castle Pale Ale

Sam Adams

Guiness

And just about any kind of FREE beer... :D

Andy

Moose Drool is good stuff

Their "Slow Elk" is good too if you like it a bit heavier.

Coors Original or MGD to wash it down.

and yes there was a thread about a year ago:D

Sorry for missing any previous version of this thread.

Once this thread dies down a bit, I will likely make a hardcopy of the posts. As I see some these fine brews in my travels, I'll be sure to give them a try.

Just got a case of Molson Canadian the other day. It came from up north so it was the high test version, pretty darn good.

Sam Adams

Labatt

Anything made by Henry Weinhardt's (You boys away from the left coast are missing out)

Quanity not Quality:

Bud Light or Busch Light

90% of these I have never ever heard of...

Doesn't anybody drink Blatz or Pabst anymore? These two are real popular with the young crowd around here.

I prefer the "topshelf" Milwaukees Best Light. And If that isnt around, I like Miller Lite (mother's milk)

But the best beer by a long shot, hands down is FREE beer, cold of course. :-laf :-laf :-laf

1. Rolling Rock

2. Coors (light or original)

3. Keystone

4. Mil Best lite

The bar I worked at last spring semester had 'penny beer' night on Wednesdays. Cover was $3, and pitchers of Mil lite and Bud lite were $. 25. We went through 21 kegs one night. :--) Almost half of that was on the floor. Had to mop the dam thing about 4 times.
