I replaced mine with allen cap screws. And with a long t handle allen wrench you can get right between the lines. Really easy in and out.

I would love to know where all you members are finding the AFC screws in allen head. I had to buy replacements after loosing 2 afc screws out of the housing (long story) and I checked with the guy @ Lowe's before buying the regular screws and they didn't have allen heads:confused:
 
Hey stick, that'd be cool! If I could I'd get a barge and bring all of ya down here! (Each of you with your trucks;) ). Thanks guys, I'm probably going to have another go at it this weekend so I'll need to get those bolts first.

I love that idea! My breakoff screw was really tough also. I tried the torques bit route, and had no luck. What i ended up doing was cutting a hacksaw blade off and useing it to cut a slot in the top of the screw for a screwdriver blade, then I tapped on the screwdriver while turning and it came right out. I think the paint had it more than anything. I also believe you could cut the head completely off then take the screw out after the cover was off, just don't want to drop it down the hole!
