break in

My 02 truck has just over 8k miles on it. Ive only had occasion to pull my 4klb trailier a total of about 1000 miles with it so far. I did go on a 1600 mile trip with it, but that was empty.



I keep hearing that I should be getting more power when the truck gets broken in, but it sure doesnt seem like it. ( maybe even not as spunky when I first got it)



Does it seem like this truck should be considered broken in ? Or does it take a lot more miles (especially if the majority are unloaded) ?

Get a VA Box and the difference is amazing, and you'll not need to do any mods to the transmission.
