I just got my Piers #10 plate. To remove the break-off screw, he recommends a "hand impact tool". What exactly is this and where do I get one?

Thanks,

Wiltcher

It's an impact screwdriver. Usually has a 3/8" or 1/2" end with a socket that accept screwdriver bits. Any good tool store will have one.

Or you could whack it off with a chisel. Not quite as elegant as the methods described above but it'll work. Kind of in a class with shoving a screwdriver through the oil filter. Replace two top ones with M6x1. 0x16mm (or 18mm) allenhead capscrews and M6x1. 0x25mm on the bottom two.

I'll be real anxious to hear your first driving impression after you get that plate in. :D
