Hudson valley

Scott, hope you can make it, and definitely the 8's!! My friend Tom is excited about having our little meet at the marchwood shopping center. He plans to have his shop cleared out so we can work inside if its cold or rainy. He will have a decent collection of tools on hand but It couldn't hurt if some people bring along some more as well.

I am definitely up for some dyno runs, but if that does not work out maybe we can talk Tom into letting us have a burn-out/smoke contest in the parking lot instead!:D lol. Sounds like it will be a good time. Hope to see you all there!!

Larry

It looks like I'll be able to attend the breakfast. I'll be coming across the turnpike. Directions for the dinner would be great. See you all on Sat.

Hey Larry, We'll do your Comp on Sat.

Jeff

Jeff,

good to hear that you'll be able to make it. Looking forward to getting my COMP box back in the truck. Scott(PRORAM) offered to help me too so bewtween the 2 of you guys maybe i can learn how to put this thing in myself.

If you come across the turnpike the diner will be easy for you to find. Get off the turnpike at the Downingtown exit (RT 100) i am not sure of the exit #. Go south on Rt 100 towards Exton, West Chester. I believe its the third red light the Exton Diner will be on your right. You can't turn right at the light. There is one of those dogleg? things. You have to make all turns from the right lane. You'll see a sign that says all turns. Follow that and at the stop sign the diner will be right across the street. See ya there.

Larry

p. s. i imagine you'll see some Cummins powered Dodge's around too so just look for them

Lights from the turnpike....

I was down there the other day, and found that they added a light just before rt. 113 going south on rt. 100 from the turnpike.

So its at least 4 if not more lights from the PA turnpike.

Yea, I know... . I can't help it, I'm an engineer... ...

Fred

Also, re-flash is done and power has degraded. Boy am I happy:mad:

See everyone on Saturday.

Fred

Fred, it's amazing how this "little" get together has turned into a major gathering. Originally, you and I were going to get together to compare our new trucks. I STILL don't have my truck, and we got a good bunch of guys coming for a fun day of wrenching.

And you KNOW we're going to be all over your truck like white on rice. :D

Scott

May have to bail on this

An Aunt passed away and my mom needs my truck to help clean out her house. She was all the way down in Staunton VA and it would prolly take most of the weekend. :(

got impatient

Guys,

I had posted in the "Pennsylvania" forum about coming to this breakfast/wrench day and needing some help installing D25's and shocks. Well, I had a little extra time this past weekend (and I got impatient), so I went ahead and did the install.

I just thought I'd give all of you a head's up so that you won't be drastically disappointed when I show up. For those of you who have NOT done the coil/shock install... there is a hint of sarcasm in that last statement. It is a PITA install.

On a side note... Scott aka "Proram"... did you ever make any deliveries to Walter and Jackson in Christiana? If so, I'm the guy who has the driftwood Ram with stacks that you talked to a while back about joining the TDR. Obviously, I jumped onboard. I don't know whether to thank you for all that I've learned... or curse you for all the $$$ that I've spent. ;)

See ya Saturday!

Dave

Dave, Yea thats me, glad your on board and sorry at the same time... :p :p can't wait, you'll finnaly get to see the Beast,

looking fwd to seeing everybody there, Larry, We got ya covered, i'll Nextel ya thur or fri. John, (JB@C&L) ya still comin?? lotta guys including my self want to see that beaut. i'm gonna bring my spare VC along so you can work your magic on it. Paul , too bad, hoped to see ya again, maybe soon. Looks like we're gonna have a short window of nice weather , Keep the fingers crossed.

Till sat, Take care all, Scott

We're getting close! Unfortunately, my new truck is NOT (still on a boat, or on Mars, or somewhere), so I'll be there with the Ford.

To think, this whole thing started because Fred (FParlee) and I wanted to compare our new trucks. Still don't have mine... ...

Scott

Saturday 3-20, 8 am.

OK, the best I can figure going through the thread is that we are gathering at the Exton diner in the Marchwood shopping center at 8am.

It is on Rt. 100, south of Rt 113 and North of Rt. 30.

If coming from the Downingtown exit of the turnpike, it's at least 4 traffic lights south on Rt 100, and will be on the right.

IF coming up from business Rt. 30, its about 1/2 mile north on Rt 100 on the left.

If someone more local than I sees any glaring errors, please post corrections!

See ya all on Saturday!

Fred

Coming up up rte100 from the south you will not be able to make a left turn at light for the diner. Follow signs for marchwood road, it will be a weird exit on the right hand side of the road about 1/8 mile before the light, and you will not be able to see the intersection from where you need to exit for marchwood road. After you pass a Target on the right, keep an eye out for the marchwood road exit sign. follow it to the stop sign and make a left. this will cross you over rte100 and diner is on the left. From the north on 100 you cant miss it. The diner has a yellow and blue sign. For anybody that wants to come after breakfast can just turn into the marchwood shopping center, the entrance is just past the diner. We will be in the far corner by a tan 40x40 storage building. There should be no problem finding this group!:D I am looking forward to meeting all of you guys. JB, I hope you can make it out. I cant wait to see all of your work in person.

Exton Diner is on the southwest corner of the Rt. 100 and Ship Road intersection. First Financial Bank is directly across the intersection (northeast corner of intersection).

From both directions:

Before the intersection, there is a "All Turns From Right Lane" sign.

Coming up Rt. 100 North:

I think that the "All Turns" sign is a good distance before the intersection. You'll know you are getting close when the 3 lanes goes down to 2. I THINK (emphasis on "THINK") that you want to take the next "All Turns" dog-leg. If you miss it, you can U-turn at the next intersection and double back. If you don't miss it, then at the stop sign, you'll be facing First Financial Bank. Turn left, go straight at the traffic light, and the Exton Diner parking lot is the first left. The Diner sits on the corner, so you will be able to see it from the traffic light.

Coming down Rt. 100 South:

I THINK the Ship Road intersection is the 3rd traffic light after Rt 113. Take the "All Turns" dog-leg. Drive (pretty much) straight across Ship Road into the Exton Diner parking lot.

The Diner has a huge neon lobster on the front of it, plus there is a big sign out front. Sorry this is so long. I'm trying to kill off my afternoon here at work, and figured that this was a good cause. :D

Hope this helps all you non-locals. If any of you know better, please feel free to correct me.

Dave

On edit: DOOH! Looks like I took too long to type this up...

Hey all,

looks like we might get some more of the white stuff overnight tonight. Going up to 43 tomorrow so most of it should be gone by Saturday. Mostly sunny and 52 on Saturday so we should be good to go. No complaints here with one exception: washing the truck is outta the question and i'll be showing up with a salty rig!!

Looking forward to meeting some of you i don't know and also looking forward to getting my COMP box back in the truck. See everybody Sat.

Jeff Knight ya still gonna make it down?

Larry

Well, my NEW truck is VERY close. According to Insight (which I don't trust, as its dates have been screwed up from the beginning), my truck arrived in Baltimore TODAY.

So, it won't be to the dealer until next week, so it will miss this little shinding by JUST a couple of days. So, you can all help me say GOODBYE and GOOD RIDDANCE to my Ford. ;)

See everyone on Saturday. Breakfast and trucks - a good combo.

By the way, my girlfriend thinks I'm nuts!:D

Well, I'll be there too guy's:D

Just don't pick on me too bad! LOL!!!!

I was trying to have my latest set of injectors in, but they aren't going to make it to me in time :( so I'll have my spare stock ones in.

Heck, I may still have the plow on the truck:eek:

Hey guys,

Freddie brought this event to my attention and urged me to show. If you see what might just be the ONLY Rwd regular-cab (noisy) dually drop by, it'll be me. It would be most interesting to meet some of you folk.
