I mean it is slinging oil every where and leaving small puddles in the drive way. Is something wrong?

Also had a vb and lift pump replaced by the dealer at 85 k now the truck acts really weird. Seems to defuel or loose the transmission at any given time like it almost wont move ,It just falls on its face and most of the time if i let off the pedal and mash it again its ok. I also have another problem that may be related . I seem to be getting no downshift,or so it seems If I cruise at 65 let off and low it down it doesnt want to kick out of overdrive or any other gear. Some times I feel like I am getting a second or third gear start. Checked codesand got.

0743 TCC circuit electrical

0463 Fuel sensor circuit high input

1765 Timing selonoid circuit malfunction

1693 turbo charge circuit malfunction

Hope someone can understand this I know its very conveluted but its the only way I can explain it. Also sorry for the long post

Oil leak

I know you have probably already done this but check the lines near the front bottom of engine and make sure this is not a transmission leak, since the transmission is acting up, might be low on fluid. bg

Your breather-tube catch bottle may be full. On the other hand, mine was blowing oil all over the engine compartment and leaking oil on the driveway as well. I finally fixed it once and for all by installing the closed crankcase system: Walker Engineering's Airsep. It works, albeit a little on the pricey side. Of course there are other advantages to to actually creating a slight crankcase vacuum as this system does...

1) Seals, etc. last longer

2) Removal of crankcase pressure= more efficient motor which could= slightly better mileage

3) no leaking or stinking after you change the oil

4) no leaking or "dumping" of oil if you decend a very steep hill while off-roading.

5) Cleaner engine compartment

6) Cleaner driveway

7) Environmentally sound.

Later!

I would definatley check your transmission cooler lines which may be laeking and that would explain the puddles up front.
