Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts: Anyone use them?

I found a local guy with a set of these for sale with wheels. Came off a GMC 3/4 ton. 285/75 16.



Anyone here with experience with these? Please respond.

I have the Bridgestones on Eagle 16 x 8. They have 17,000 miles and they are wearing well. Besides, they look good.

I had a set of 255/85 16. I couldn't keep the center of the tire from wearing out. I aired down to 35lbs in the rear and they still wore out. I replaced them at 30,000 miles. If I had to worry about any kind of weather they would have been gone at 25,000. Will never buy these tires again.

I had Dunlop tires not Bridgestone.

I have had two sets, plus the current ones on my truck. Results?



The first set on a full size Ford Bronco=62,000 miles. First set on my Dodge (factory Michelins changed out at 35 miles)58,000. I only have 7,000 on the current set, but they are the best. The cost is substantially LESS than BFG A/T's. I think I paid about $134 per tire.



Tires run true, are quiet and perform in rain, snow, and dirt. I will absolutely buy them again.

I have them on the White Obsesson. They have great traction in ice and snow. However, I have 15,000 on them right now and I'll be lucky to get a total of 20-25,000 out of them. The dealer I bought them from told me that if I rotated them every 5,000 mile (which he does), if I did not get 50,000 treadlife out of them, he would give me a new set free. Guess I'll have to take him up on the free set of new tires.



Next time I buy tires, I think I will try BF Goodrich.

Thanks guys. I think it's a moot issue now. I went and twisted the arm of the local Les Schwab dealer for a set of new Wild Country XTXs or Toyo Open Country ATs and wheels, and with the refund on the previous set of some off-brand they sell that have worn out at 25K miles (40K mile warranty), they came in at about the same price as the used Bridgestones. So I think I'll go that route.
