Looking For Duallie Running Boards with Rear Extender

"D" vs "E" Rated tires, am I missing something???

We've run the michelin ltx m/s 245 75r16 and have appreciated them. However the tire wear was not even and we're a little concerned about that. We pull a fifth wheel 13,400lb dodge 99 diesel 2500. Does anyone have any experience with the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo? Does anyone have any other suggestions. Have considered the rickson 19. 5s but I am running a 3. 55 differential and do not want to go to a larger wheel if possible.

What I've heard and read is that particular tire is very good as far as traction goes. Tire wear is as different as mpg and driving style.

The Rickson's would be a good choice. The overall tire size is the thing you want to look out for. Based on your sig, it appears you have enough power to turn them.

I'm running the revo's. Haven't had any problems with them. I probably only have about 5k on them, so I can't speak so much for wear. I tow a 10k flatbed, and they seem pretty stable. I've also driven through some pretty thick mud and haven't gotten stuck, and I only got 2wd.

WE actually have the 265 r7516 on the truck at this time. We are going back to the 245s because I find that now, in overdrive on the hwyway it is comfortable driving at 65-75 especially on uphills. If I drop to 60mph the engines tends to lug on the hills. That is why I am worried about increasing the tire size. I would like to cruise closer to 60-65.

I have run 2 sets of the revos in 265/16/e. They were great tires. I got 55k and 59k out of each set. That was towing fairly lightly though. Traction was great in all conditions except gooey mud. Probably one of the best tires I have ever used on a truck

My 98 came with 245 GoodYears and was scary on wet pavement. I have run the 265 Michelins and Firestone Steeltex and now the FS Transforce HT. All were good tires. A friend has run several sets of 285 Revos on 4X4 D/As but they were "D" rated and a little to squirmy for my liking. They lasted around 60K and had great traction.

I have ran the revos on a previously owned Jeep Sahara, and 99 Chev Tahoe. If they made them in 315 I would run them on my 06 Dodge CTD. No complaints in the snow or towing on the Hwy. Only light loads towing with the Tahoe

I have run the Michelin LTX AS, Cooper Discoverer, Goodyear GSA, Michelin LTX MS and finally the Bridgestone Revo AT. The Bridgestone Revo AT was the longest lasting tire to date. The Revo was great in the Rain, Snow, Light Mud and Dry pavement. I highly recommend this tire to anyone looking for a great all season tire. The Revo is also priced right for the job it does.
