It really happended recently in an campground. A fellow traveller was trying to put his 5er into a very wide space but the entry was ona curve and around a tree. He had lots of help ( wife and older son). Needless to say he was having problems, backed over decorative rocks, tore up the pretty dirt and was just having a bad time of it.



When he finished parking next to us he came over to say hello, introduce himself and apologize for the annoyance. We both came to agreement that while is wasn't fun for him, we bystanders had wonderful entertainment.



So, as we'll all do sometime, when we'rer having a similar trying time just remember, we're making someone else SMILE !

RV parks are pretty good, but not nearly as good as a boat ramp. I've never seen anyone in an RV park drown his truck.

Or forget to put the drain plug in and realize that AFTER the truck/trailer has already pulled away.

I was at a CG over the 4th and the manager of the place expected me to do a reverse slalom between the posts they installed on the corners of the sites. I don't think I could have driven through them forward. Fortunately, the guy across the street moved his truck so that I could back in thru his site.
