Brink Designs Decals

First and foremost, thumbs up to Bobbi Brink of Brink Designs for putting together a very smooth transaction via telephone. Secondly, the decals arrived today and they look even better than I had imagined! Not only did Brink Designs earn my business the first time, but they now have me as a loyal customer. There are many sign and vinyl lettering shops here in NJ, but none as good as Brink. I'll take some pics of the truck when I put them on and find a way to have them posted on this topic.

Wet the surface that you are going to put them on and get a ruler out to make sure they are level.

one more thing, put some masking tape across the topedge of the sticker and stick it to the truck, line up with ruler make sure you already have the surface wet then with the sticker stuck to the truck with the masking tape, lift up the sticker and very very carefully peel the backing off at a 45degree angle and still be very careful of not removing any of the letters off. Then with a credit card or squeegy start from the middle and go to one end then start again from the middle and go to the other end to apply the sticker, you might have to wait for the fluid that you used to evaperate before pulling off the other and final backing, if you get any bubbles take a new sharp pinand slightly prick them and squeegy out.

Put my CUMMINS 24V Turbo stickers on last night. They look tremendous. Brinks is a great find. Thanks Gary.

I debadged the entire truck and put the sticker on the hood (where you see the Sport decal)- back where it meets the door. Looks understated and cool. Esp on a white truck.

That idea sounds great for another sticker. I talked to Mike of Auto Wurks Diesel and he and I got together Saturday and pulled off my logos and put on the decals. They are the finishing touch for my rig. We used a heat gun and dental floss to remove the old badges from the doors and then 3M adhesive remover to clean it up. On for four years, they came off in about twenty minutes total. Mike is going to also bring all his vinyl decal and lettering needs to Brink. Thanks for introducing Brink to the TDR.

I think that's a great idea. I'll even bet Brink has the correct curvature for the top of the windshield in their computer so the decal will look straight when applied to the convex windshield. I, however, would like to get one made for the back window, and I have a sliding rear window. So I, and probably enough of others would like to put something like that on either the left or right stationary glass of the rear window.
