I just pull back on the turn signal indicator and let off when I see lights coming the other way. After practice it just becomes second nature, I can see the value of bright box if you live in the middle of nowhere were there is no oncoming traffic or you often drive all night long. Anymore it seems like my brights are lucky to be on 1 minute with all the traffic these days.

Holding back on the turn signal to keep all your lights on isn't the best of ideas from what I hear... I guess you can fry some of your electrical lines because to much electrical current is going through them... What the bright box does is takes all that electrical current and then manages it and distributes it. I used to do the same thing by holding it back the turn signal... now all I do is turn my brights on Oo.

will see I bet a lamp out light will flash long before I fry the wire with stock bulbs I'm not woried the truck is almost 2 now I think the wire would of smoked by now. The bright box is fine I would buy it if the cost was under 50 bucks but noway do i need that option at that price I would add some driving lights before that for about the same cost, and see miles down the road!

I live just down the road from you, and I really appreciate the extra light the Brite Box gives me. Most of the secondary roads, in this area, are two lane, and without street lights. Add the ocassional ( :-laf ) rainy night, and it's a big plus to turn on all the lights and see a lot better. I know it seems to be a little expensive for what it does, but it's worth it. There were some threads, in the past, that even suggested how to modify the lights, yourself, if you want to save a few bucks. Don't worry, "ttreibel," if I see you coming, I will dim the lights...
