Fleet Guard Verses Mopar Oil Filters

Thanx to all for your support, BButler, and MADDOG/Richard from the Ford site, huge thank you!
After "careful" analysis of the oil filter, Southwest Diesel determined that my dad lost the #1 piston(chunks of aluminum in the filter)... so after an estimate, it was decided to have it hauled home... I won't be elaborating any further until the outcome has been met.
Thanx guys, I mean it... TDR, that $35 is wellworth it!

Losing a piston is a rather hard thing to do on one of our Cummins engines. To do so would normally require towing a heavy load and running very hot.

Joesoot: That sounds just like my truck, even on the dyno it did not get over 950 deg. Hope this is not a sign of problems to come!
