I was driving around town today and when I went to slowly accelerate, snap, there went the input shaft. I called Bill from DTT and I am going to have the transmission sent out to install their billet input shaft installed and freshen up the converter and valve body. The weirdest thing was that I broke the shaft at about 15mph, lol. I just thought I would share.

My guess it wasn't the 15 MPH that broke it. :D Probably the no plate or a heavy foot earlier. hehe. If you are going to get a new input shaft might as well go with a 300-M shaft. This shaft is a lot stronger and will probably hold up to anything. Stock type shafts have a little flaw in them and are evident when hopping up the truck.

This is why I have decided to go with the billet input shaft.
