Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Broke my input shaft today.

I was driving around town today and when I went to slowly accelerate, snap, there went the input shaft. I called Bill from DTT and I am going to have the transmission sent out to install their billet input shaft installed and freshen up the converter and valve body. The weirdest thing was that I broke the shaft at about 15mph, lol. I just thought I would share.

Hey, it gives me an excuse to have Bill upgrade some more crap in the transmission, lol. Though it will cost me my credit card's available limit, lol.

My guess it wasn't the 15 MPH that broke it. Probably the no plate or a heavy foot earlier. hehe. If you are going to get a new input shaft might as well go with a 300-M shaft. This shaft is a lot stronger and will probably hold up to anything. Stock type shafts have a little flaw in them and are evident when hopping up the truck.

This is why I have decided to go with the billet input shaft.
