Competition Truck pull in Osgood In.....

Competition Pro Pulling League Diesel Truck Rules

The bad thing is i see alot of people launching at 15-30 psi and i havent ever got it over 6-10 psi. Id like to play up in them ranges once or twice but my truck sounds sike its going to blow at the low pressures.

It was a clean break right behind the splines on the back 3 inches.

Clean break? Nothing else chewed up?

Last advise I had from DTT was to run a stock (non billet) intermidiate?? Thought they were no longer selling billet... suggesting some give was best. Has this changed?

But, you were running nitrious, right?

No i wasnt running nitrous, still need a hobbs switch. that was a better suggestion than the tps.

From your description, sounds like you held it under high boost for quite some time. Think that's what caused the problem?

Any feedback from DTT?

Could not get the shifter out of drive for a bit, then finally got it out.

Trans has the engine under a load, even in park. Reverse loads the engine but its bound up. . I only have forward gears. Neutral doesn't work either.

I bet the cluthces for first gear are welded up solid. Mine were when I had that happen! You are stuck in first gear. Your transmission can't shift out of first. Have fun pulling th input shaft out! I gave up and sent mine back to Suncoast. Thats what I got fro trying that Bully Dog tq mangament crap.

Them quotes are from somebody else.

My symptoms were

No forward gears

The truck didnt sound like it had any load on it in any gear position, thought output shaft at first.

The transmission would not do anything in any gear position except reverse where it would kill it.

I could put it in 1st, 2nd, drive and neutral and back to park only, when i tried reverse it would kill it. No grinding of any kind. It idled in neutral for about 5 min to get it to the shop then i put it back in park and it still never made a grinding noise. Had to have it running for the power stearing, well not really but much easier.

I got the piece out. ill take a pic and post it.
